Queen's Birthday Long Weekend

We love a reason to celebrate and the Queen's birthday long weekend is no exception. Join us for $6 Peroni schooners from 5-7pm tonight, $10 Asahi handles and $12 Espresso Martini's. $13.90 will get you two, house made schiacciatas and the Shizzle will be playing live on stage.

If it's too wet and cold to head to the footy we'll be playing the Port v Richmond game live with sound where it's warm and cosy inside with $6 pints of Coopers Session Ale siren to siren.

Anzac Day Wednesday 25th April 2018

Raise a glass to the spirit of the ANZAC's at The Lion this Anzac Day. If you're heading to the Dawn Service we'll be open for breakfast from 7am to 3pm. If you're not an early bird then pop in for our Anzac Day BBQ from midday. $16.90 gets you a delicious lamb chop, beef sausage, juicy steak, roast potato and onions, salad bar and a schooner of Coopers Pale Ale or Carlton Draught or a glass of house wine or soft drink. The amazing pipers from the Southern Districts Pipe Band are always a huge hit with our customers and we're thrilled to welcome them back to The Lion this Anzac Day. No doubt you'll hear them before you see them from 11.30am.

Built in 1871, the Lion Brewery was a modern masterpiece of its time. It reflected the vibrant growth of South Australia and was known for producing quality, specially crafted beer.

Today, The Lion seamlessly blends contemporary architecture with the heritage fabric of the building to deliver The Lion experience that patrons know and love.
